Gordon Shifts Slightly West

Latest models predict TS Gordon to shift slightly to the west, but not significantly. Last night, Gordon was expected to make landfall just to the east of Gulfport. This morning, the prediction has changed to the other side of Gulfport; about 5 miles. Also, expected winds have dropped from "74 to 110" and are now at "58 to 73". Reductions in winds does not alleviate the threat of flooding and storm surge. Residents in low lying, coastal areas may still be at risk of flooding.

TS Gordon's Winds Could Reach Hurricane Force

TS Gordon could become a hurricane, sometime in the next 24 hours, as it bears down on the gulf states of Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and Florida. With it, Gordon will bring flooding, wind damage, storm surge and a number of other dangers.

8pm Position and Track of TS Gordon

NWS has now issed hurricane warning for TS Gordon from the Pearl River, Mississippi, to the border between Alabama and Florida. Gorden will continue to strengthen, as it moves into the gulf states. Please be prepared.
