The chance for severe weather in the Midwest was upgraded by NOAA to "High" status with "Moderate" and "Enhanced" still covering much of the state of Oklahoma. In their report, NOAA states the chance for an EF2-EF5 tornado within 25 miles of where you live has been increased to 40% . This means there is a good chance that one of the 422,868 people in the 34,493 square mile area will be effected. More information on how to prepare for a tornado.
