Reports of Damage in Evangeline Parish

Reports are coming in this morning that a home has been moved from its foundation, onto the roadway in Evangeline parish. 

An early morning line of storms has produced several tornadoes, hail and wind reports, causing downed trees, power outages and flooding, according to NOAA. One such report comes from Evangeline parish, where a home has been moved from its foundation and is across the roadway. Thankfully, the resident was not injured. 

Other reports indicated damage and power outages in WINN, NATCHITOCHES, GRANT, LA SALLE, RICHLAND, FRANKLIN, MADISON, TENSAS, EAST BATON ROUGE and ST. LANDRY parishes.

OEP is reporting a gas station in Ville Platte, at the corner of Whiteville and Tate Cove Road  has had the pumps torn from their foundations, along with numerous other reports from around the city.

Social media reports are coming in showing damaged trees and power lines, after radar indicated rotation, north of Loreville, La.
